Alloy Engineering Yields 30% On-time Delivery Improvements with PFM

According to Plant Manager, Sean Schill, Alloy Engineering had a manual system for scheduling production which provided limited visibility. The management and team at Alloy couldn’t easily determine what should be worked on next.

By implementing Protected Flow Manufacturing (PFM) from LillyWorks it introduced Threat-Level Priorities to the team at Alloy, giving them real-time visibility into what jobs need immediate attention and what jobs to work on next.

The use of PFM tightened communication allowing Alloy to transition from micromanaging production to have a clear, corporate-wide system of priorities across all departments.

The results were quick and dramatic. Alloy boosted on-time delivery success by over 30% with LillyWorks Protected Flow Manufacturing (PFM).

Following that initial success in the Berea location, Alloy is expanding PFM to it’s other plants with one facility already seeing a 40% improvement in on-time deliveries.

According to Share Slack at Alloy, “Now we’re thinking about our processes in a whole new way. It’s a game-changer.”
