Three Cat Processional - Egyptian Style
This pen and ink work was printed in black on buff colored paper. In the 80s, Egyptian art was a major pop culture influence. Not only was it popular, but the exactness of the style lent itself to a therapeutic approach for the artist. "Looking back, this pen and ink drawing was indicative of what my life was like at the time. I needed to be in control of a life that was out of control, and the tight rendering of the three cats gave me a place to be in control."
